			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>MIAMI, FL – March 8, 2012</strong><strong> –</strong> Miami based brand development and design firm PUMPED, Inc and their non-profit entity Pumped For Change, are once again collecting Gold (3) and (1) Silver Addy Awards for their recent “Pixels Not paper” campaign. In addition, they also collected a Silver award for the Breakthrough Miami Annual Report design.</p>
<p>Pixels Not Paper focuses on raising awareness about the urgent need to cut back on business paper consumption. As part of the message, the goal was to educate people about the very real environmental and economic costs of excessive paper use and the equally important benefits of tree conservation. Upon receiving the awards, President and Creative Director Carlos F. Peña commented, “The awards recognize our commitment to social causes as a mainstay of our company DNA and encourage our industry partners for their collaborative contributions.”</p>
<p>These awards signal five consecutive years of winning both Gold and Silver awards at the local Addy Awards Competition and continue to solidify the creative consultancy for their commitment to their work and clients. The work now moves on to the Regional level and then optimistically onto National Competition.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>MIAMI – NOVEMBER 10, 2011 -  </strong>Breakthrough Miami, a program that has changed the lives of thousands of inspiring youths, has hired Pumped, Inc, one of Miami’s top brand development and advertising agencies, to develop an integrated branding campaign in hopes of gaining widespread awareness and support in the local community. Breakthrough Miami is part of a nationwide coalition dedicated to improving the lives of low-income students by “moving students out of poverty through education.”</p>
<p>The program identifies at-risk yet motivated middle school students and supports their transition into local college preparatory schools. Breakthrough Miami works to increase high school graduation rates. Currently only 43% of Miami students will graduate high school on time. The Miami chapter has been especially active and successful, boasting the largest site in the nation and a 99% graduation rate from high school for participating students. Despite these impressive achievements, the program is known to very few in the local community. This lack of awareness presents a major issue for Breakthrough Miami because it is a private program that relies on individuals, foundations and corporations for funding to allow their students to attend school tuition-free.</p>
<p>Breakthrough has approached Pumped because of their proven track record and their understanding of the organization’s needs. Carlos F. Peña, Creative Director and President of Pumped said, “Breakthrough Miami has such a phenomenal program that provides opportunities for talented yet underprivileged children who would otherwise fall through the cracks. It is a great honor and responsibility to help position this organization as one of the best programs in Miami. We hope to be providing this support for years to come.”</p>
<p>Pumped is developing a fully integrated campaign that will highlight the program and staff that work tirelessly to assure that all students, regardless of background and means, will have equal access to excellent educational opportunities .The agency’s first step was to design an innovative annual report for the program. The colorful and creative campaign will focus on the real winners in this partnership – the students.</p>

Linea Editorial, is a company  dedicated to edit books of Multidisciplinary Design and selected our advertising campaign to be featured in &#8220;Speed Design&#8221; as part of the Brainstorming Books collection.</p>
